ACCNJ Members and Partners Hike for Suicide Prevention
April 2025
On Saturday, April 26, the Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey (ACCNJ) took part in the Construction Hike for Hope in Bear Mountain, New York. Hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), this powerful event brought together individuals from across the construction industry to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention - something that impacts far too many in the construction community.
ACCNJ was proud to support this critical cause as a Gold Sponsor, and the Association also made an additional $500 donation to AFSP to further its mission.
“We are proud to be part of the growing effort within our industry to prioritize mental health,” said Jack Kocsis, CEO, ACCNJ. “It’s inspiring to see so many of our members raising awareness for suicide prevention in construction. Together, we can continue to work to create a safer, healthier environment for all.”
The walk garnered support from ACCNJ and partners alike. ACCNJ Chief Operating Officer Jill Schiff and her daughter Jayne participated, along with the following companies:
